Boil water for at least one minute or use bottled water. The municipality of Pierreville adopted this measure following work on the network. The preventive notice is in effect until further notice depending on the duration of the work in progress from October 8, 2024. No apparent sign to date indicates the presence of bacteria or any other material. Several other tests on drinking water will be carried out over the next few days to find out if the drinking water still meets provincial standards.
